If you’ve ever been to Porthgwidden beach in St Ives, you’ll recognise them instantly. That curved row of picnic benches in pink, yellow, green and blue. I don’t know why but there’s something incredibly pleasing about them isn’t there?
 
So when I got home, I couldn’t resist , I had to have a go at recreating their colours in jewellery form.
Featuring six handprinted and dyed anodised aluminium mini hoops in the same pinky red, yellow, green and blue as those picnic benches. Topped and tailed and interleaved between them are 7 hammers silver hoops.  The sterling silver snake chain threads through the hoops, allowing them to move freely with a satisfying jingle.
 
Each aluminium hoop is colourful on both sides, ensuring a beautiful flash of colour no matter how they sit or move on your neck. This necklace is perfect for adding a contemporary and colourful statement to any outfit.
