If you’ve ever been to Porthgwidden beach in St Ives, you’ll recognise them instantly. That curved row of picnic tables  in pinky red, yellow, green and blue. I don’t know why but there’s something incredibly pleasing about them isn’t there?
 
So when I got home, I couldn’t resist, I had to have a go at recreating their colours in jewellery form.
Small discs of hand-dyed aluminium in pink, red, blue, green and yellow hang from hammered silver circles.
 
All handmade, they pick up the colours of the picnic tables and have a satisfying little jingle as you move. They’re lightweight and easy to wear, with plenty of colour in a small pair of earrings. Treat yourself, or give them as a one-of-a-kind handmade gift to someone who loves colour.
