If you've ever been lucky enough to go to Wimbledon, you'll know it's not just about the tennis. The grounds are beautiful too, with huge borders packed full of flowers and plants. It's the vast swathes of hydrangeas that have always caught my eye.
 
So I decided it'd be fun to turn one of my own Wimbledon photos into some earrings inspired by those hydrangeas. I didn't copy the flowers exactly, but instead picked out the blues, purples and pinks that first caught my eye.
 
I made just two pairs. This pair is handmade using hand dyed aluminium with handmade silver earring wires. Whether you're a tennis fan or simply love these colours, they're a cheerful way to add a bit of colour to your day.

All my jewellery is designed and handmade in my garden studio in Dorset, UK.

The oval discs are each 12x10x1mm and the total drop of the earring at the front is approx 47mm with the back earring wire being 53mm in length.
