When I peeked over the cliff from the Minack Theatre, I was blown away by the beauty of Porthcurno beach. Aqua blue sea rolling onto golden sand, with those dramatic cliffs behind it. What a view.

Back home, I wanted to bring the colours of the sand, sea and cliffs into my jewellery. I’ve used an oval of my handprinted aluminium in golden tones, printed with a light blue pattern. I love how the blue line reminds me of the waves breaking along the beach. Beside it, little frosted Picasso jasper beads threaded onto silver pick up the colours of the cliffs. A hammered silver circle completes the cluster.

The little beads turn freely, and the aluminium is printed on both sides, so there’s something to enjoy whichever way it turns. All three elements move and jangle together as you wear the necklace.

The Picasso beads hang from a handmade silver wire and are approx 6mm in diameter , the aluminium hand set in silver is approx 16x12x1mm and the silver circle is approx. 7 mm in diameter. The necklace comes with an 18” sterling silver ball chain.
