It was my last day and I definitely didn’t want to go home. I went to take one last look at Porthmeor Beach. With the Island at one end and Man’s Head at the other, it’s famous for its surf and, of course, Tate St Ives overlooking the beach.
 
It was windy and grey, but the leaden skies only made the colours of the land, sea and sand stand out even more. When I got home, I just had to try to recreate those colours in a piece of jewellery.
I’ve used my handprinted aluminium to represent the land and the sea, and brass with a brushed finish and warm sandy tones for the beach. The three elements hang from long handmade silver earring wires.
 
They’re lightweight and easy to wear, with plenty of movement. Treat yourself if you love colour and contemporary jewellery, or give them as a one-of-a-kind handmade gift.

The oval discs are each 12x10mm and the total drop of the earring at the front is approx 51mm with the back earring wire being 54mm in length.
